Allow yourself to slow down so that you can feel and explore your inside world. There are endless treasures in this space.

When you take
care of your body you take care of
your life.

Sarah King Borda, LMT, BCTMB**
Licensed Healthcare Practitioner
bodyHeart Therapy Center Owner and Director

Sarah is a massage therapist who specializes in myofascial release and craniosacral therapy.

Sarah completed her massage therapy
training at Somerset School of Massage (now Cortiva Institute of New Jersey) in January 2003 and opened bodyHeart Therapy Center in Chester, New Jersey one month later. Before entering massage therapy school, Sarah had stepped into the world of energy work and received her Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu Certifications.

Sarah has always been interested in the nature of human nature -- her own and others’ -- and was led to bodywork during a transformational time in her life. She approached this pivotal time of personal challenges on many levels, exploring massage and energy work to help her understand herself better.

She has studied Myofascial Release treatment extensively since 2002, and continues to develop her skills with John F. Barnes, physical therapist, lecturer, author, and president and director of the Myofascial Release Treatment Centers and National Myofascial Release Seminars in Pennsylvania and Arizona. Currently, she serves as an assistant teacher with John Barnes, PT, at his seminars, and teaches Myofascial Release to professionals in the tri-state area.

Not only does Sarah train and teach with John Barnes, but she also leads classes for professionals and clients at bodyHeart Therapy Center in Chester.

Sarah's massage and energy therapy background, combined with the Myofascial Release approach to treatment, give her the ability to treat her clients with compassion, intuition, and skill. Area physicians frequently refer their patients to Sarah for Myofascial Release treatments.

Sarah intutitively incorporates many approaches and techniques into her bodywork with clients, always striving to empower the individual by increasing their body awareness and teaching advanced stretching techniques for them to practice at home.

A native of Richmond, VA, Sarah holds a BA in English/Journalism from Lynchburg College. She has lived in Chester, NJ since 1993 and is an active member of the community. She enjoys life -- travel, hiking, yoga, cooking, athletics -- and relationships with her adult children, Welsh Corgis, friends and family.

Sarah's profound ability to heal
Sarah has given me a lifetime gift and I am forever thankful.

She has a profound ability to heal, both physically and spiritually, and it must be God-given.

I feel so blessed to have had the chance to learn from Sarah, and I appreciate her dedication, knowledge and experience more than I will ever be able to express."
